Factory resetting your television means completely wiping off all the settings since the TV was purchased. Why would you want to reset a TV? For Sony brand television on another hand, to factory-reset, you would need to start with opening the menu by pressing the Home button on your remote. This will bring up the screen that allows you to scroll up/down to look for the “settings” option. Choose this option and hit the enter button. Then, select the “storage and reset” option and press the enter button in the middle of your remote. Next, choose the option that says “restore factory settings” and you will press the enter button there as well. Now, pick the option that says “reset all data” and then hit enter button. Your television will ask if you are sure, that you want to reset all of your settings back to the factory settings. “Confirm” and “enter” to finalize your decision to let the TV reset itself.
TCL
